Celebrating Robert Willoughby's 100th Birthday

Sadly, Bob did not live to see his 100th birthday although he got very close. It's remarkable to note that he never actually retired from teaching, and was in the middle of the school year when he passed away. But that won't stop us from celebrating his birthday, and the many many years he gave to the flute world. There will be several events taking place to honor his career and legacy.

The Virtual Birthday Party

We will be hosting a virtual birthday party on his 100th birthday, June 6th 2021 at 1:00 PM EST on Zoom. There will be some never-before-seen video and pictures, share some memories, and we will all raise a glass of our favorite beverage in a toast to his life and legacy. This is open to anyone who wishes to attend, but we do require that you register to be admitted just so we can have some control on the inevitable party crashes who hear that there might be champagne. Your email will *only* be used for the invite to this party and a very few emails about updates for the other activities around his 100th birthday. If you have any questions, please contact John Willoughby.
